Business Training Direct exceeded my expectations; I entered this training with an attitude of 'oh no not another course'. I'm not confident and fear so much when speaking in front of people. I did not believe that this course could help me as I do not present or speak to audiences very often. How wrong I was.

I stated my only objective was to work smarter and not harder. My words would not be able to summarise this course to its full potential; you need to experience what I experienced. My colleagues and I felt it was very good, exciting, helpful and fun. I can assure you it was interactive from the start, at no point did I feel tired or drawn from too much information. The presentation skills training was the best course that I have taken is over four years. I could feel a difference between the beginning and the end of the two day training in my confidence and ability to present and convey messages clearly. It is so rare to find a course where the trainer, really has the experience and skills and is also completely engaged by the training, giving so much energy that I would be surprised if there was any more to give. Don't go on this course if you want a glitzy certificate and a few cushy hours away from the office, the training is exhausting and tremendously rewarding.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for all your hard work in putting together the training day! The feedback I have received from the team has been very positive - it was a challenging and hard day, but at the same time balanced by making it fun.

The sessions were lively and interactive. The hand-out notes were comprehensive and useful – the role plays were truly excellent! Presenting to your peers under the gaze of a ‘teacher’ and ‘the boss’ is tough, but your confident, humorous approach was infectious on the team and encourage everyone to overcome nerves and perform their best.

The team thought the content of the presentations was well thought through, relevant and useful – indeed the only complaint was that they wanted time to do more.

You may be interested to know, that following the event, there has been a noticeable improvement in people’s confidence levels and willingness to present.

Prior to the course, one member of my team openly confessed that she was not looking forward to the session, it was way beyond her ‘comfort zone’. Subsequently, she said that having done the course, she had learnt much. As she put it ‘there’s nothing worse than presenting to your boss’. Five weeks later, she presented to a meeting of Italian bankers on a very technical subject – she performed so well, that she got a standing ovation at the end and was invited to present to two other groups. What a success!

To me, the main achievement of the course was your ability to show people how they can unlock their potential, to present well by learning techniques and controlling nerves.

Having attended a one day 'Introduction Course' I would whole heartily recommend this training to anyone who finds speaking in public difficult - before this course I dreaded it! I was initially nervous about the day itself but my fears were soon dispelled. Ian quickly put the group at ease through a number of exercises which gradually built our confidence over the day. The final task being asked to make presentation to the group. Previously this would have terrified everyone but after the days training we all felt much better about doing this and the improvement in everyone was staggering.
